This single cultivar Yabukita Sencha is grown Nakai-san without pesticides in the green rolling hills of Wazuka Japan, 40 minutes southeast of the former imperial capital of Kyoto.
Harvested entirely from the first new leaves of the season, the tender young leaves impart this tea with a superior fresh aroma, mild astringency, heightened sweetness and reduced caffeine, making this tea the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing trip to Kyoto, any time of day.
Shincha (meaning 'new tea') is difficult to find outside of Japan but through our contacts we have acquired an extremely limited quantity for sale to our customers in the US. Order now before its gone. Once we're out we won't be getting more until 2021!
